EMI Forum

The EMI Forum brings together Electronic Money Institutions, regulators, banks, and ecosystem stakeholders to discuss operational challenges, interoperability, compliance, and the future of digital payments in Pakistan. Through the forum, Pakistan Fintech Network actively engages with State Bank of Pakistan on matters related to regulation, policy, and industry collaboration. PFN has also worked closely with stakeholders on key industry initiatives including the National QR Code framework, minor onboarding regulations for EMIs, and ongoing engagement around PSO/PSP regulations. The forum is conducted twice annually with the industry and twice annually with the regulator to ensure continuous engagement and dialogue.
